![]() ![]() The sunny savannah introduces new animals, but much of it is under the control of the Grey Ones. They have landed in force and you can see powerful ships anchored outside their harbor camps. Stygian mercenaries have colonized the new savannah area on the Island of Dawn in the east. Though they are strong and aggressive many have devolved to such a primeval state that they can hardly be called men any longer. They live in primitive camps and are called the First Men. You can also encounter the surviving remnants of the ancient humans who used to live on the island in the ashlands. The Black Corsairs have settled here, their gruesome camps warning off intruders with gibbets and impaled corpses. On the Island of Dusk, you will find many volcanic vents, filling the area with fire and an ever-present cloud of ash. This offers many desirable and defensible building locations on the mountain tops, where you can build your castle up high and dominate the areas below. The floodlands in the middle are a mix of low-lying flood plains and heavily eroded mountains. The three new biomes added to the Isle of Siptah have their own unique qualities. The map expansion not only brings new biomes to Isle of Siptah, but also new types of enemies (such as the Grey Ones and First Men), new creatures, a host of new NPC camps, massive ancient ruined cities and a new PvE mechanic tied to mysterious green pools. It contains three new biomes, the savannah, the floodlands, and the ashlands. This new territory increases the size of the map to around the same size as the Exiled Land, and is called the Isle of Dusk and the Isle of Dawn. ![]() All-new areas are ready for you to explore to the south of the island. The Isle of Siptah expansion is getting another great set of improvements with a big increase in its map size. ![]() Fists have a harvesting power of Zero.Greetings Exiles! The update is live for PC today and Isle of Siptah can be played in Early Access. The following is a list of tools by type with their respective harvesting power.Įach tool has a harvesting power associated with it, which signifies how good it is at gathering resources (see the formula above). Empirically, it also seems to efficiently harvest feathers from Vulture nests atop mesas in the desert biome. Skinning Knife - hide from bodies, some meat.Sickle - fiber, plants, berries, gossamer (also on spiders bodies).Cleaver - meat from bodies, some hide, heads.Empirically, it seems to be the most effective tool for the harvesting of demon blood. Hatchet - trees for wood, bodies for meat and few hides (if you don't have a cleaver or skinning knife).Pick - generally boulders and ore, also trees for bark, resin (northern trees) and bodies for bones. If the server was configured with Harvest Amount Multiplier set at x3, then each strike would gather 30 or 33 stone. When used to strike a large boulder, it will harvest 10 or 11 stone on each strike (10 stone with a 50% chance of an additional stone). This is multiplied by the Harvest Amount Multiplier server setting for increased resource gathering.įormula for gathering quantity = ( Harvesting Power + ) x Harvest Amount Multiplierįor example, a Steel Pick has a harvesting power of 10. The quantity of resource gathered by each strike is equal to the Harvesting Power of the tool, with a 50% chance of gaining an additional resource. Resources are gathered by striking an object in the world with an appropriate tool. Other resources can be significantly harder to locate, such as Silverstone, Obsidian, and Star Metal Ore. Some resources, such as Wood and Stone are easy to find - just hit a tree or large boulder respectively with a harvesting tool. 2.1 Tool Categories - use the correct tool. ![]()
